BioKangtai’s SARS-CoV-2 vaccine (Vero Cell), Inactivated is a 2 dose vaccine with 28 days interval. It presented as a single dose, 0.5ml, contains 5μg (equivalent to 100U/ dose) active substance, stores within 2-8℃, shelf life as 24 months (tentative). Our vaccine is cultured on cell matrix. The entire virus is fully inactivated by heat, chemicals or radiation, through which lose pathogenicity while retaining antigenicity.

With top standard of independent development and manufacturing technics, our vaccine outplayed many other providers.

Cooperated with CDC, the virus we used strain with high-titer and immunogenicity was obtained. The completed acute toxicity study and animal allergy study showcased high immuno-protection efficacy. We completed more than 20 batches of virus culture and more than 10 batches of purification and formulation, with analytical test methodology and specifications established. Toxicity studies results demonstrated excellent safety feature.

Moreover, the virus’ infectivity and replication capability are eliminated during preparation, the pathogens maintain some of their integrity to be recognized by the immune system, proving the vaccine has better immunogenicity and can induce a stronger adaptive immune response.
