BioKangtai’ s COVID-19 Inactivated Vaccine Received Approval for Clinical Trial

On September 28, the COVID-19 inactivated vaccine (Vero cell) independently developed by BioKangtai was approved by the National Medical Products Administration for clinical trial. It has become the first novel coronavirus vaccine to enter clinical trial in Guangdong Province.

The first phase of the COVID-19 inactivated vaccine production workshop has been completed. It is expected to have an annual production capacity of 100 million doses/year by the end of this year.
